Privacy policy
This website collects as little as possible: no advertising, no tracking cookies, no accounts. Here is what does happen when you visit.

Hosting and server logs
The site runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in the EU and is delivered through Cloudflare, Inc. When you open a page, your browser sends technical data such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser type. This is needed to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. It is kept only as long as needed for that and is not used to identify you.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies and storage
We set one cookie, "gong-locale", which remembers the language you picked for one year. Your browser also remembers whether you have already seen an event announcement, so it does not show again. Neither is used for tracking or advertising, so we do not ask for consent.
Visitor statistics
We count page views and clicks with Cabin (withcabin.com), a privacy-friendly analytics service. Cabin sets no cookies and does not store IP addresses or anything else that identifies you. We only see totals, for example how many people opened a page.
Contact and reservations
When you email or call us, we use what you tell us only to answer you. Reservation forms on this site do not send anything themselves: they open your own email program with a prepared message, and nothing is sent until you send it. Reservations go to the Farmhouse Resort team, who handle seats, dinners and stays.
Legal basis: answering your request and carrying out your booking (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Fonts, media and social networks
Fonts, photos and videos are served from our own servers; no content is loaded from Google, YouTube or social networks. Our Facebook, Instagram and YouTube links are plain links. Once you follow one, that service’s own privacy policy applies.
Your rights
You can ask us what data we hold about you, and have it corrected, deleted or restricted. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest and ask for your data in a portable format. Write to the address above.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the authority in your country.
